Kailua is my usual area to stop by while I'm in Oahu
Mrs.Olive and Mr.Oliver are locating at Kailua are friendly small boutiques
Despite the fact that lady's line Olive is nothing so different
with any other ladies boutiques in Honolulu,
men's line Oliver has such a good taste
it's more for urban boys who has a taste in preppy and Surf
and for people who wears Saturdays Surf NYC,Band of Outsiders
I'm sure you guys will like here!
Hawaii was lacking of men's quality shops and for those who was looking for
not as expensive as Neiman Marcus, and more with quality
than Abercrombie&Fitch and Hollister..etc  this shop is really worth going
you can tell that the owner has intentionally selected
the decor for the boutique too

Kailuaは毎年恒例の場所だけど
このMrs.Olive and Mr.Oliverのお店には初めて
ladiesのOliveは他のセレクトショップと内容は変わらずだけど
mensのOliverの方は雑誌のPOPEYEのcity boyが行きそうなお店
それにHawaiian tasteが加えられたものなので
Saturdays SurfやBand of outsidersが好きな方とかはどうでしょうか?
ただでさえ数少ないHawaiiでのmens shop
Neiman Marcus程高級ラインでなく、A&FやHollisterみたいに
典型的なアメリカンカジュアルのfast fashionでもない
もしカップルで行かれる方、メンズ物を見るのが好きな方にはおすすめです
入り口の床部分がpennyで埋め尽くされていてそこも味が出ていて
きっとお店のowner(その時は買い付け中なので会えず)が細部にも

こだわりをもってつくられた空間なんだろうな

Who said white is for summer? I think white is for year round.

We often tend to choose black,navy or gray during this season,

but it's important not to forget to brighten up our style sometimes.

Looking through street style, i found some key words

match and match, 

black and white, length 

match white×White it will be ultimate accent to your style 

Black×White everyone can do this! it makes you look chic instantly.

Length is a key now, the longer the more classy 

since knee length skirt has made it major comeback, it's one of essential item.

Besides those key words, white can make a difference with other colors

so it has a strong power to attract people instinctively. 

If you haven't apply white item to your wardrobe yet, or deciding 

what to buy for the coming spring, why not choose white item?

特に膝丈のスカートなんていうのは女性らしさや品格の高さもうかがえる。

更に白色は冬にはいているだけで差別化が図れるよね。

瞬時に惹き付けることが出来るものなので

もしまだ白のアイテムを持っていない方がいれば一着でも何処かに

取り入れるのを始めてみてもいいかもしれない

Christmas is over 2 days ago and i just unwrapped my present from Santa...

No jk, i didn't get it from santa i bought it for myself.

First off, we don't have tradition like giving and receiving presents

and opening all the gifts on Christmas Day.

I have been looking HERMES scarf for so long and it's something

you can't impulse buy because they have massive design coming out

each season and you need to wait for "vivid moment" 

luckily this month, while I was shopping at Nihonbashi, I met my love....

クリスマスが過ぎて2日、やっとサンタから受け取ったプレゼントを開封...

なんてあるわけがない!これは自分用に購入したもの。

まず、日本にはクリスマスの真の文化というものは根付いてない

(そもそもキリスト教でない)だからクリスマスツリーの下に

綺麗にラッピングされた数多くのプレゼントが

置かれているという素敵な光景は多くないはず。

前ふりはさておき、長い間求めていた

HERMESのスカーフに先日偶然日本橋で出会ったの。

毎シーズン新たなデザインは出てくるわけだし、「ヴィヴィッド」来る瞬間を

大切にしたい私は自分が欲しいデザインとなかなか出会えず...

でもついに見つけた、オレンジの箱が私の手元に

綺麗に巻かれたリボンをほどいていく瞬間はドキドキの頂点

ブログのレイアウトのfashion bloggerって日本では見つからない

「あ、この人のセンス好き」

と思ってもiPhoneでの自撮りだけの自己完結型日記だったり

反対に、

「あ、この人の文章の表現法•文語体素敵」

なんて思っても顔が見えなく、あまり更新頻度が高い人でなかったり...

卓越したセンスを持っている人を探し求めているわけではないのだけど

これって私が注文が高いだけなのかしら?
自分もその域に入っていないので、
人のことをとやかく言える立場ではないけど
自分の意見をいうのは自由だと思うから述べてみる。

まあどちらにせよまだ出会えていない

しかし最近ELLEのbloggerでKATEという名の方で

元々SATURDAYS SURF NYで働いていたらしく

彼女のスタイルの良さと

converseとdenimを完全に自分のものにしている所に魅了され、

更にELLEとtie upした写真がとても良かったので

是非shareしたいと思います

ほどよいゆる感、boys感、street感、気取らない感、ありのまま感

写真越しから伝わるよね

そしてなによりも東京の日常的な背景に

自然に融合しているけど、その背景にも負けない程

存在感がある写真がとても素敵

最近度々オンラインで見かけるようになったこのスタイル

Valentinoのdressに合わせられたら話さずにはいられない

NIKEの短めソックスにヒール、果たしてこれはあり?なし?

明らかに男受けはよくないのは確かね

"The Manrepeller"のLeandraのような男前で自分のスタイルを貫く女性なら?

でも"ユニークさ" "新たなコンセプト"としてはいいよね

ソックス×ヒールのスタイルは前々からあったし、今年の

CHANEL 2014 SS collectionでもソックス×ヒールのスタイルあったね

私もNIKEのこのsocks持ってるけど、runningの時しかはいてないから

実用的といっていいのかな?

fashion界では何でもありなのでしょうか

Have been seeing styles with NIKE socks×heels at online quite a lot

It was quite a surprise at first when i stumble upon a picture of a woman

pairing up with Valentino dress 

I love having a bit of personal touch into my fashion but

is NIKE socks×heels are acceptable or not?

obviously it's one of  "manrepeller" style

and yes if it was real "The Manrepeller" Leandra, she would rock with it

Yes wearing socks×heels are common nowadays 

I've seen Karl Lagerfeld styling in CHANEL SS 2014 PFW 

I have one of those nike socks which I used them for running only

so maybe it's practical? what do you guys think?

この間表参道にある日本ブランドのとあるお店で偶然見つけた

UK発のmagazine, "The Gentlewoman" 

名前とサイズ感が自分の中で気に入り、即日購入

今の編集長はPenny Martinという女性の方

UK発なのに、元はオランダのカルトメンズマガジン、"Fantastic Man"の

クリエイターのVan BennekomとJonkersが女性誌を出したかったのが始まり

中身はindependentな女性が登場し、写真もたくさんだし
文章はコラムのように読みやすい大きさ
途中カラー用紙でなくpaper紙になっているのも
他の雑誌との相違点

年に2回創刊で、今季ので既にno.8

今回featureされていたgentlewomanは
Martha Stewart,Katie Hillier,Lea Seydouxが登場

ちなみに私が想像する"gentlewoman"は....

First issueのcoverを飾ったPhoebe Philo,Tilda swinton,

Garance Dore,Carolyn bessette Kennedy

彼女達に憧れる理由....それは
Fashionも抜群のセンス力が際立っていて、更に生き方が

真っすぐで芯が強そうで常に世を刺激してくれる女性達だから

皆さんも見つけたら是非手にとってご覧下さいな

私のbible magazine, TWELV 4th issueが28日に日本に上陸

"muse"がthemeでcover modelはLake Bell

TWELVがきっかけで、色んな写真家やクリエイター達について知り

今までfashionの世界に何の知識もなく

付け焼き刃のようにかぶれだった自分だけれども

好きな写真家やクリエイター達なども発見したりして

もっと色んな人を知りたいと思う様になった

写真を見てる分にも撮る分にもGuy BourdinやJessica Craig Martin

のような一見華やかそうに見えて、シュールな部分も兼ね備える

"ordinary"でない写真が好き。

ということで先日BOOKMARCに行った時にGuy Bourdinのミニ写真集購入

私が特に気に入ってるのがこの女性が股を開いてるヒールの広告写真

シャルル　ショルダン　Charles Jourdanの1960'sの広告

靴の広告にこんなにも大胆なshotかつGuy Bourdinだからこそ見せれる

この写真観に惹かれる

それを真剣に観戦する白人の富裕層....

so when i think of budget, I came up with things listed above...

クリスマスプレゼントは何をもらう/買う予定か皆はもう決めた?

私が欲しているChurch'sのBurwoodだけど、値段が上記のものの合計金額

(もしくはそれ以上)程のものなので、お財布に優しいものを考えると

上記に挙げた小物類達が有力候補かな

残念ながら毎年もらう人がいない私は

プレゼントという口実で、自分で買っちゃう可能性あり笑

Beauty Habit I Do

Wait a sec I didn't realize that November has been started...is this mean

we have only 56 days left till the year ends? oh no I have few

resolutions left that I haven't completed yet

Oh well...moving on to my beauty habit/thing I do sometime

I don't spray my Diptyque perfum interior to my plant but

I do spray it in my room! it's romantic smell just like a real rose

since it's getting cold, my skin need hydration and I have been using

this hand cream from BUTTER London and so far it's not bad

I have been using comb for my hair since a year ago

and I'm taking care of it to use it long time

here's my routine for "how to take care comb"

1年程前からつげ櫛の本格的愛用者になり

これからも使っていく予定なので、私のお手入れの方法をご紹介

1. Drizzle olive oil or anything with vegetal oil on comb  

オリーブオイル/椿油等の植物油を櫛の上にかける

2. Wipe off the olive oil with tissue paper/kitchen paper 

ついた油はティッシュ等で拭き取る

3. Finishing off by brushing inside with tooth brush like flossing 

櫛の間の汚れなど細かいものを使わない歯ブラシで磨く

 Repeat this routine once a month or so

これを月1程度行えば櫛も大事に扱える
